So much input all the time It’s the Party Line phone lines I remember the TV commercials when I was a little little kid you could call in and talk to strangers chaotic calls with any and every sort of caller each trying to take something from you and if they gave something to you it was meant to extract more – more information, more ways to know your weaknesses, more chances to trick you when the boss starts that zoom call and asks how its going for everyone and each chimes in with their piece of the corporate mission and I sit listening to the tremble in some voices and domination in others then it’s my turn and I deflect then the meeting moves into the more information stage eliciting each of our words in confirmation bias and on to the weakness exposure stage that leads to the trickery which is to convince each of us to give more of our souls to the project to reach the goal what is the goal of a Party Line – same as the zoom meeting – to massage you into surrender
