DATE NIGHT! We love Prince, and hamming it up for the camera.
We had a fun time at the “When Doves Cry – The Prince Tribute Show”, a multi-talented 8-piece Tribute Show to the music of Prince, performed Prince’s Iconic “Purple Rain” album in its entirety as well as Prince’s greatest hits and other deep cuts. Hailing from Sacramento, California, the band is practically local - only a short three hours north of Salinas.
This band was fantastic musically with the charming lead singer really bringing the spirit of Prince. The enthusiastic crowd dancing and singing right along. The energy of the crowd and the good vibes of the venue, Heirloom Pizza Co, made for such a great night.
Of course, we had to wear our Prince gear that we pick up in the Prince store at the Minneapolis Airport in May, 2021. That's right! There is a Prince store in the airport.
