Beverly Van Pelt
Beverly is a member of the State of
California Women’s
Club Nationals Curling Team (VICE-SKIP for 2007, 2008) and curls out off the San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club. She is an athlete and
an active promoter of the State of California
as an emerging destination for Curling.
Elected to the Board of Directors in 2007, she chairs the Future
Planning Committee managing all aspects of planning , evaluating and analyzing cost-benefit relationships; chairs the Education and
Instruction committee developing curricula and programs for students, members, San
Jose State
and other universities, coordinating instructors, as well as continuing
certification education; and coordinates Community Relations to
increase awareness of the sport through demonstrations and informational
booths throughout Northern California.
